Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) With the advent of new academic session, a terrible upsurge in prices of books, uniform, bags registers and copies has been witnessed in book shops sliding the poor students and their parents into perpetual state of agony. .

The School management also increased the fee of various classes as now the admission fee of nursery has been increased from Rs14,000 to Rs20000, while the monthly fee have also increased from Rs200 to R500. The parents have criticized the school management for imposing the security fee on students.

The parents said that school management is charging Rs4000 in terms of security fee, however, they have failed to take any possible security measures to ensure the safety of students.
The private schools have made it binding on students to buy uniform, copies and books from their respective canteen .

Meanwhile, a set of books of Prep, Nursery, one, two and three-5th Class in private school is being sold at Rs4500, Rs5800, Rs7000, Rs8500 and Rs9000 -Rs15000 respectively.
The parents slammed the transporters, who are providing pick and drop service to students by increasing the fare to the extent of Rs2000.
