Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The leader of opposition in AJK Legislative Assembly, Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin has accused PML-N government of victimizing the opposition in the name of accountability.
While talking to different delegations here on Sunday he said that if government is serious to eliminate the corruption from the state it should first made Justice Bostan Commission report public and take action against those involved in the corruption in the light of the report. He said that the illegal appointment of a corrupt individual as in-charge of the Community Infrastructure Development Program in Local Government speaks volume of the ‘good governance’ mantra of the government and exposed its real designs.
Chaudhry Yaseen said millions of rupees were looted by the officials of Cooperative Housing Societies but neither inquiry report of the scam was made public neither any action was taken against them. He claimed PPP government has established universities, medical colleges and dozens other institutions of higher education and completed many mega projects in its tenure for the welfare of the people of AJK but unfortunately present government is closing these institutions and rendering thousands of employees jobless to discredit PPP government.
The opposition leader said that on one hand government is claiming that political interference, favoritism and nepotism is completely eradicated from the education departments and jobs are being provided to the people on merit on the other job opportunities are offered to favourites. He alleged government instead of advertising posts and making recruitment through transparent process adjusting ruling party workers and relatives of ministers in violation of rules and merit.
