SHARJAH: Skipper Quetta Gladiators Sarfaraz Ahmed said that bowling second was a tough task for his bowlers but all credit to Muhammad Nawaz for bowling a tremendous over to defend last seven runs.

Speaking in a post-match press conference, Ahmed said that Nawaz executed the plan pretty well for the team.

“When it was 2 runs required off 2 balls, we knew that we have raised our chances to win this game. All credit to Nawaz who delivered perfect yorkers on the occasion,” he said.

“I spoke with Nawaz and told him that it was his time to shine. I am really happy that he delivered what the team expected of him.”

He added that it’s an achievement of the Pakistan Super League to give platform to young talent of the country.

“It’s our collective win. From players to team management, credit should be given to all.”
