“AJK PM says Kashmiris had attach their fate with Pakistan 70 years ago through a resolution”
Muzaffarabad (Khizar Hayat Abbasi): President Mamnoon Hussain has asked India to end its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by withdrawing its forces from the held state.
Addressing a function in Muzaffarabad on Friday, he urged the international community to support Kashmiri people for the sake of peace in the region and beyond. He said despite using every tactic of oppression, the Indian forces have failed to suppress the liberation movement in Occupied Kashmir. Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan has always supported the Kashmiri people and will continue to stand by them till they get their right of self-determination.
He said the Kashmiri youth have infused a new spirit to the liberation movement. He also appreciated the dedication and commitment of the Kashmiri leadership to take forward the Kashmir movement. The President urged the international community to support Kashmiri people for the sake of peace in the region and beyond. Speaking on the occasion Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan Kashmir was part of Pakistan both ideologically and geographically and this was the reason that people of Jammu and Kashmir had attached their fate with Pakistan even before the establishment of Pakistan through an accession resolution in 1947. He said that however Kashmiris has been suffering for last 78 years because of the political mistake of Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. He expressed hope that the dark night of inhuman pressure will end and Kashmiris will see the dawn of freedom and independents soon. The Prime Minister said that in India fail to find out peaceful solution AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that Kashmiris are not warmonger rather they are flag bearers of peace and stability. He said that despite Indian excesses and brutalities, people of Kashmir invite New Delhi to sit around the table and find out peaceful solution of Kashmir as they believe that violence will neither benefit India nor any other. He said that there are three parties are Kashmir conflict India, Pakistan and People of Kashmir and no solution of Kashmir problem could be finds out without consent and approval of the people of Kashmir. The AJK PM urged the united nation to shun its double standard and full its responsibilities towards Kashmir conflict. The PM paid glowing tribute to father of the nation Quaid Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and said that Quaid Azam was not only leader of the Muslim of subcontinent but was considered as one of the greatest leader and political thinker of the globe. Raja Farooq Haider Khan welcomed the President of Pakistan for his visit Muzaffarabad and attending a function held in connection with birth anniversary of Quaid Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He said that President’s visit to AJK reflect his love for the people of Kashmir.
