Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Saying that no institution of any kind can be run without rules and regulations, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said there will be no compromise when it comes to the respect for the rule of law and constitution.
Addressing at AJK Legislative Assembly here on Thursday he said that he has been in politics for last 32 years and challenged his opponents that if they can prove a corruption of a single penny against him he will quit the politics.
He said that institutions can be run only under the law and constitution and his government is determined to uphold the rule of and the constitution. He urged the members of the house to participate in the proceedings of the house with full preparation and asked the questions and get the answers from the ministers. The Prime himself replied several questions of the members of the house.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said the government would establish supremacy of law and rules of business in the state and assured that opposition will be given its due respect.
Responding to a question from opposition MLA Malik Muhammad Nawaz , the Prime minister told the house that four lacs and ten thousand people were living along the Line of Control (LoC) and they all face unprovoked firing by Indian forces. The LoC affectees demanded for construction of community bunkers for their safety. The matter has been raised with the federal government for provision of funds, he said.
The Prime Minister paid tributes to the sacrifices of the people living on the LoC.He said government is well aware of the difficulties these people are suffering during Indian firing. Earlier members of the Assembly offered Fahteha for the martyrs of Lahore blast, brother of MLA Raja Naseer, sister of ex Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi and brother in law of the Minister Ch Muhammad Saeed.
