Abbaspur:Â (Parliament Times) The Sustainable Social Welfare Society (SSWS) and Abbaspurian Social Group have organized a walk in collaboration with forests and education departments to create awareness about the importance of tree plantation and clean environment. The walk was participated by around 400 students of ten different schools of Abbaspur and adjoining areas. At the end of the walk the participating students were given saplings by the organizers of the walk. The walk was started from Bauli Bazar and terminated in front of Boys Degree College Abbaspur after passing through all areas of the Abbaspur town. The walk was also participated by government officials, lawyers, traders, journalists, employs of forest department, members of civil society and teachers. Later addressing a seminar District Education Officer (DEO) female Rehana Shah Muhammad principal degree college Muhammad Naseer Range Officer Imtiaz Ghani, member of SSWS Hamza Naseer president trader association sheikh Nazeer Prof Irfan Shaheen Abid Ayub Mian Haleem advocate Afzal Kiyani advocate and others highly appreciated the efforts of Sustainable Social Welfare Society for creating awareness about tree plantation and tree protection. The speaker said that entire world is facing environmental degradation, solution of which is to grow more trees and increase the forest. They further said that with the depletion of ozone layer human kind are facing numerous diseases on the earth. They said that this issue is not confined to one region or country rather it is global issue ad need to be addressed by all human beings.
