MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) Azad Jammu Kashmir University has achieved another milestone to overcome the issue of space for different departments. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Dr. Khawaja Farooq Ahmed on Thursday inaugurated newly constructed building for the Office of Research Innovation and Computerization (ORIC). Inaugural ceremony was attended by Registrar of the University Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmed, Director Finance Syed Sabir Hussain Bukhari, Director ORIC Dr. Saeed Arif Shah, President Administrative Staff Association Syed Shafahat Gillani, heads of different departments, members of faculty and employees of the university. With the construction of new building, the issue of the space in the university has been significantly addressed. The Vice Chancellor Khawaja Farooq Ahmed after taking charge of the office of Vice Chancellor kept his focus on addressing the problems of the space and completed several buildings on war footing basis. The building of Engineering Department and Girls Hostel are also in the last phase of construction. The Vice Chancellor after inaugurating the building handed over the keys of the buildings to Director ORIC Dr Saeed Arif Shah. He said that the fundamental purpose of the ORIC is to promote the research in the market.
