ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas for domestic usage has reduced by Rs 300 per kilogram on Wednesday.

The price reduction took place after Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority withdrew authority of marketing companies to determine price of LPG cylinders.

Taking up recommendation of Ministry for Petroleum, OGRA has fixed the price after around 16 years. LPG price has been fixed by the regulatory authority for the entire country.

In a statement, marketing companies have been criticised for unjust pocketing of billions of Rupees of profit every year over authority to regulate the prices.
