Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times)Â The newly elected president and chief patron of Foresters and Forest Guards Association, Raja Tahir Majeed and Haroon-ur-Rashid Awan have resolved to protect rights of the employees and those using the name of the organization illegally would be sued in the court of law.
Addressing a news conference at Central Press Club here on Sunday they said that in recently held elections of the organization their panel returned unopposed and those who did not even submitted their candidature are claiming to be the elected office bearers of the organizations. They said that a reconciliatory committee had already been setup to remove misunderstanding among the employees of the Forest Department and urged the committee to complete its task as early as possible. They accused that some of the officers of Forest Department had tried to influence the elections process but with the grace of Almighty Allah their panel has been declared successful unopposed. Mr Tahir Majeed and Awan further said that Forest Minister Sardar Mir Akbar Khan remained impartial during the elections and added that elected body of the forests employees fully supports government’s policy of merit and rule of law.
