Islamabad: Senior Advisor to AJK Prime Minister, Sardar Khan Bhadar Khan has praised officials of Public Works Department Rawalakot for keeping all land routes open for vehicular traffic from Rawalakot to rest of the state during the recent rains and snowfall.
He said PWD SE Rawalakot, Sardar Afraz Khan, Executive Engineer Chaudhry Zeeshan, SDO Qazi Irshad, Junaid Querashi Ishtiaq Abbasi and others worked day and night to keep the roads open from Khaigla Ali Sojal to Abbaspur. Similarly, Trarkhel, Gangai Banjosa, Hussain Kot, Jandali, Deogali and other roads also remained open during weeklong rain and snowfall in the area. Talking to different delegations in Islamabad he said present government headed by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan believes in serving the masses and is striving hard to provide relief to the people of Azad Kashmir. Terming honest and dedicated officers as backbone of the government, he said government will encourage the responsible officers and while those who are inept and sluggish would be reprimanded. Sardar Khan Bhadar Khan highly praised Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for approving a big development package for Azad Kashmir and said development process would soon be started in Rawalakot and others area as per vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
