CPEC: china-Pakistan economic corridor is the very vital and joint project of Pakistan and china. CPEC is the part of china’s one belt one road initiative, which is located in its Sothern corridor of Silk Road project. This mega project connects Gwadar Port in southern Pakistan with China’s north-western city of Kashgar in Xinjiang.This is an undeniable fact that paradigm of power is shifting towards east from west. Now world cannot stay uni-polar, shortly it might become bipolar, due to forthcoming soft economic Sino-Power.Though china is the new rising power in world India and United States have left no stone unturned to stop Pakistan from joining this new venture of china. It is obvious thing India does not want to see strong Sino-power in Asia especially if its in collaboration with  Pakistanas like USA. It is not easy for India to accept that her two rivals are becoming strong ally of each other.For that reason both of these countries are trying hard to stop it and to make this  project unsuccessful .Because the success of this venture is going to sabotage the power of India in the region. Strong Sino-Pak in South Asia is the Security dilemma for India andit will threaten Japan as well which is the close ally and partner of USA to several folds.CPEC has got numerous importance for Pakistan and China both economically and strategically. Oil from middle east would come via GwadarBalochistan and will be transported to China from Gwadar which is economical for china both in terms of time and finance.Currently China is 12000km from Middle east with 45 days of shipping time but CPEC will shorten this distance from 45 to 10 days.It is rightly entitled as the Game changer and the fate changer for Pakistan and for the whole region. CPEC is a mega project with enormous economic benefits for the people of Pakistan and the region because it connects China with central and South Asian markets. As per recent estimate CPEC will serve three billion people, which is nearly half of world population. Thus a huge economic wing is about to appear from this region. Once the project is completed Pakistan going to serve as the connecting bridge between China, Central Asia and South Asia.It will offer vast variety of jobs and shall promote and upgrade Pakistan to high growth rates which will guarantee Pakistan’s stability and can function a detterent against violence and extremism.CPEC is a project with bulk of advantages for Pakistan and for the whole region the  importance of CPEC is beyond the limit, Balochistan to Xinjiang path will not only reduce the distance between china and Middle East but will also provide safe and secure way of oil to chinabeacause Pakistan is the most reliable and trustworthy friend of China.Chinese government is investing  $55 billion on this vast project because theGwadar is located at the front of Hormuz Strait which is responsible for $40 trillion trade in a year and will also shorten the distance between China to Middle East and African Countries.Most of Chinese trade is done through the Malacca Strait if future war occurs in Asia and US navy block this strait to give China’s a hard time the CPEC wil not only provide an alternate route to China but will reduce the shipping time as well from China to Europe.In Pakistan Balochistan and KPK are the biggest beneficiaries of this mega and vast project as this project will open the door of opportunities for these areas and will contribute towards its progress and development.This is the first time in Pak-China’s history that China is directly investing in Pakistan on such mega project the country which is facing economic and political instability and uncertainity since 1970’s. Thus Fabian ways are needed to hold on the project and to counter the rivals and competitors. It’s the point to stand and join hands with leaders for Nation’s development and prosperity.Despite the fact, that CPEC is a marvelous project carrying tremendous quantity of advantages for both China and Pakistan but along with benefits security concerning issues are still there.RAW’s involvement in Balochistan and the separatists movement in Balochistan are the main threats where the port of Gwadar is situated which is the starting and main point of this project. India trying to destabilize the area to sabotage and subvert this project.Recent arrests of Indian spies and expel of Indian diplomat from Pakistan for having involvement in spying purposes shows that India defrayal an enormous quantity of cash and resources to sabotage the CPEC project.Despite our hostile neighbor’s support to Baloch rebels when this project is in full operational mode even India would ultimately be a part of this project as this project going to connect all the economies of the region.There’s political instability in Pakistan its not always easy to get political consensus over an issue because of parties’ political differences. Kalabagh dam that is taken into account to be very necessary to handle Pakistan’s water shortage issues are subjected to political argument and still awaits construction. Same propagandas were applied to make CPEC another kalabagh dam but this time saneness succeeded and controversies were crushed and halted in the beginning. Besides the political leaders’ efforts the efforts and contributions made by Army Chief can’t be neglected. He took his keen interest on this project to make this project successful for the betterment and development of Pakistan and to make Pakistan more prosper and strong in this regionand also assures security and assistance from Pakistan army in future when needed. Nevertheless, Pakistan is well equipped and ready to tackle all challenges with strong military might and latest technological support. Operation Zarb-e-Azab and National Action Plan is the example which has successfully eliminated the major bloc of terrorism from the country and has got appreciation and recognition across the border.
