Muzaffarabad:Â (Parliament Times) The Labour Department of AJK government has fixed minimum wage for unskilled workers as Rs 14000.00 per month and decision to this effect would be effective from July 2016. The Labour Depart directed all the District Officers of the department to make sure that owners/representatives of companies are implementing the decision of the government in letter and spirit. Under the instruction of Director Labour Inspector Labour welfare Raja Qaiser Rashid provided the government notification to President Awami Labour Union Neelam Jehlum Project Haji Abdul Latif and representatives of Wapda Labour Union. Besides this the notification was also provided to various centers of commerce and industries, businesses, commercial institutes, private schools, colleges, bakers, hotels, petrol pumps, security companies, banks and other institutions. The Labour Director warned that a strict action under laws would be taken against those who fail to comply with the decision of the government.
