Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif felicitated candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi and Chaudhry Muhammad Siddiq on winning the election of Kashmir Council.

The prime minister hoped that both the newly elected members would contribute for the development of Azad Jammu Kashmir and the welfare of its people. He also hoped that the elected members would ensure implementation of the federal government’s development programme in AJK.

Nawaz Sharif said the people of AJK reposed great confidence in PML-N during the election that helped the party gain clear majority in the AJK Legislative Assembly. He said PML-N would focus all its energies on the social and economic uplift of the people of AJK.

The prime minister said that Pakistan would always extend moral, diplomatic and political support to the brethren of Indian Occupied Kashmir in their just struggle for right to self-determination.
