Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Punjab Minister for Labour & Manpower, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, has said that business friendly policies of present elected government is compelled multi-national companies to invest in Pakistan which would ultimately provide job opportunities and business activities.

He stated this while inaugurating Islamabad Shopping Festival at Pak China Friendship Centre, Islamabad on Saturday. Ambassador of Yemen Dr. Abdullah, President, PML (N) Metropolitan Rawalpindi Sardar Muhammad Nasim, Zamurd Khan, Dr. Jamal Nasir, MPAs Raja Muhammad Hanif, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Zaib un Nisa Awan, LubnaRehan, SobiaSatti, Sher Khan, Ch. Ayaz, Ch. Tahir, Ch. Tariq Iqbal, Ch. Farooq Ahmed Jan, JavedWarsi, Shah Rukh, Naseer Ahmed Khawaja and other prominent business personalities were present on this occasion.

Raja AshfaqSarwar said that C-Pec is gift of China for Pakistan and it will open new avenues of international trade and it would also become beneficial for the business community of Pakistan and other countries of the region. He appreciated the organizers of Islamabad Shopping Festival who had provided platform to national and multi-national organizations to show case their products besides providing recreational facilities to the people in Islamabad. He also mentioned various initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for socio economic development besides improving infra-structure in both rural and urban areas of the province. The Minister also visited various stalls and talked to the stall holders and visitors who expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and the environment provided for the promotion ofeconomic activities. Earlier, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Jan, Ch. Tahir and Majeed Tariq Iqbal also spoke on the occasion and elaborated the objectives of Islamabad Shopping Festival.
