ISLAMABAD: Corps Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Amir Riaz has been appointed as Chief of General Staff, Radio Pakistan reported on Monday.
The post of Chief of General Staff was vacant due to promotion of General Zubair Mahmood Hayat.
Radio Pakistan reported that Military Secretary Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza has been appointed as Corps Commander Southern Command.
