ISlAMABAD: A resolution against Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC)  was passed in the National Assembly.

The resolution presented by Federal Minister on Kashmir Affairs Birjees Tahir condemned the unprovoked firing of Indian forces in which seven Pakistani soldiers were martyred.

Pakistan condemns Indian aggression and pays tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the motherland, the resolution stated.

On Sunday, seven Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom after Indian forces carried out unprovoked firing at LoC, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday dared Indian military to tell its casualties, saying that Pakistan Army killed 11 Indian troops in return for its seven martyrs.

During an informal conversation with media in Islamabad, he said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now understood Pakistan’s stance that aggression across Line LoC was useless.

General Raheel further said that the army has given excellent results in the defence of the country.
