Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik in Srinagar, today. A police party raided the residence of Muhammad Yasin Malik in Maisuma area of Srinagar and arrested him, a JKLF spokesman said in a statement. The JKLF Chief was released from the Central Jail in Srinagar on October 29 after four months of detention. Meanwhile, the authorities also placed Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest at his Nageen residence in Srinagar. Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, who himself is under continuous house detention said, “Mirwaiz was house arrested ahead of Friday to stop him from reaching to historic Jamia Masjid.
