Ch Majeed warns AJK govt against employees’ retrenchment issue

Muzaffarabd: Former Prime Minister and leader of Pakistan Pakistan People Party Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has said opposition would requisition the session of Legislative Assembly to debate on the retrenchment of employs in police and other government departments.   Addressing a press conference at Central Press Club hereon Friday, he alleged the PML-N government of adopting anti masses policies and crossing all the limits in political victimization.

Flanked by two former ministers, Ch Lateef Akbar and Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi and member Kashmir Council Akhtar Pervaiz Awan, Chaudhry Majeed announced that opposition members would hold session of the assembly in the lawn of Assembly Secretariat as opposition has not required number of legislators in the house to complete the quorum of the house. Making government of Raja Farooq Haider Khan a target of his scathing criticism, the farmer Prime Minister said that government will not be allowed to establish monarchy in Azad Kashmir. He demanded that all the retrenched employs should be reinstated forthwith and warned that failure of which will force the government to start an agitation within the house and outside.

He said that previous government of Pakistan People Party regularized the services of thirteen thousands employs whereas present government of PML-N is snatching morsel of bread from the mouth of the employees. He said that opposition will not allow the government to play with the honour and dignity of the people. He also strongly condemned the government for suspending educational and health packages announced by the previous government. He predicted down fall of the Farooq Haider government in Azad Kashmir soon.
