RAWALPINDI – Chief of the Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif on Thursday has signed death warrants of ten terrorists who were tried by military courts.
Inter-Services Public Relations reported that the terrorists that are now to be hanged were convicted in different cases over attacks on polio workers, Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and civilians.
The Chief of the Army Staff had signed black warrants of seven terrorists last month.
Military courts were established last year following an attack on Army Public School which claimed around 140 lives in December 2014.
It was also then that at least six-year long moratorium on death penalty was lifted.
