Islamabad: Work on motorway from Hakla D.I.Khan to Peshawar- Islamabad section of Western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is in full swing.
According to the National Highway Authority sources, 285 kilometer long Motorway also includes several bridges and reconstruction of flood-affected roads in D. I. Khan. It will be completed by the end of next year at a cost of over 129 billion rupees.
Last section of the project will be awarded soon after necessary process of prequalification of contracts and work has been expedited on rest of the project to complete it well before stipulated time.
