KARACHI:(Parliament Times) Â MQM-Pakistan chief Dr Farooq Sattar reiterated that there are no leadership vacancies in his party.
Addressing the party`s general worker’s convention on Saturday in Manzoor Colony, he said that his party was, is and will always be united under its leadership.
“We won’t let MQM be a piece of cake for anyone to grab,†he thundered. “They say that Urdu speaking vote bank would be divided in the next general elections, let the polls come, we will every seat of Karachi and the next chief minister of MQM would be from urban Sindh.â€
Dr Sattar said that there is an effective leadership mechanism within his party hence there rests no need for him to merge his party with any other political entity.
He praised the local body government of the party, saying that they have been putting their best to resolve the civic issues of the city.
Earlier, Dr Sattar in Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kai Saath categorically denied any alliance or merger of his party with former President General (r) Pervaiz Musharraf.
