Islamabad: The political parties in Pakistan are most corrupt while politicians are on the second number in corrupt practices, it is revealed in the report of Transparency International (TI).
The report added that medical department stands on third number in corruption while educational institutions and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on number four and five respectively.
“Approximately 54% of Pakistanis are of the view that corruption has increased in the regime of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while majority is of the view that personal relations play significant role in solution of problems related to state institutions. 52 % thinks that government has initiated inappropriate measures to curb the corruption”, report added and maintained that owing to poor performance of the government, Pakistan is declared 28th most corrupt country of the world.
It is worth mentioning here that Sharif family did highest corruption in the country and looted some Rs 300 billion of the nation.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari was known of Mr. 10 % due to his corruption.
Now in Panama leaks, 34 offshore companies owned by Anwer Saifullah family were revealed. There is no Pakistani politician who is free from corruption and crime whether politician belongs to religious parties or political party.
The report says that doctors and Pharmaceuticals companies are in second number in corruption in Pakistan. The doctors were looting the poor people on the name of medical treatment while companies are allegedly involve in selling fake medicines.
The aristocracy of the country is also allegedly involve in corruption on the name of education. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also established his personal Medical College and received heavy amount of fees from the students belongs to poor and needy families.
