Muzaffarabad:Â (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said his government was representing downtrodden and underprivileged of the society and vowed that he will never breach the trust given by the people of Azad Kashmir.
Talking to various public delegations that called on him here on Friday he said government was focusing on the transparency of institutions and assured that problems faced by the people of Mirpur would be addressed including supply of potable water to the city residents.
He said steps are also being taken for promoting tourism in Mirpur. He said PML-N government would fulfilled every promise made with the people and expressed his resolve to implement manifesto of the party in letter and spirit. Dispelling the impression that his government took any u-turn, the Prime Minister said his government was working in line with the party manifesto in the state.
The Prime Minister assured that modern hospitals on cardiac treatment would be constructed in Azad Kashmir. He said on the demand of people of Dudeyal a big hospital would be set up there soon. RajaFaropoq Haider Khan urged the civil servants to address people’s problems without any delay. He said his party follows the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and taking all possible steps for the welfare and prosperity of the people of State.
He said that problems faced to Kashmiri refugees would be resolved on priority. He said that people of Azad Kashmir got present political and democratic system after long arduous struggle and said his government cannot take any step that jeopardize the present system and weaken the institutions.
Referring to the situation arising out of Indian shelling at Line of Control, he said sacrifices given by the valiant people living along the LoC would never be forgotten or overlooked. He said all possible steps are being taken to rehabilitate the people displaced or affected by the unprovoked Indian shelling
