Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Terming current uprising in held Kashmir, popularly supported by the masses, as indigenous movement for freedom, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that India cannot suppress it with repression.
Talking to various public delegations here on Sunday, he said that people of Jammu and Kashmir are destined to get freedom from India sooner or later.
The Prime Minister urged the youth to use modern means of communication to highlight Kashmir issue in its true perspectives on national and international level.
Describing debate on Kashmir in British Parliament as big success, Prime Minister Farooq Haider urged Kashmiri expatriate settled in UK and Europe to redouble their efforts for highlighting the plights of people in occupied and expose Indian inhuman barbarities. About his government’s priorities, the Prime Minister said Kashmir is first and foremost priority of his government and possible steps are being taken to highlight Kashmir issue at international fora.
He condemned the human rights abuses in Occupied Kashmir and stressed for resolving Kashmir Issue according to United Nations resolutions for lasting peace and stability in the region.
He said that development of Azad Kashmir and provision of clean administration to the people are other priorities of his government. The government he said had initiated comprehensive development plan for the prosperity of the State. These initiatives would bring tangible changes in the lives of common masses, he added.
