Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned the hearing of case regarding re-counting in NA-131 till 11am Saturday (Today) besides summoning Babar Awan counsel for Imran Khan.
As per media reports, LHC has stopped from issuing the notification regarding success of Imran Khan from NA-131 till 12pm night on Saturday.
Azam Nazir Tarar counsel for Saad Rafique told to court, “PTI’s Imran Khan has indicated to leave this seat; if this happens then his request will stand infructuous .”
“Imran Khan himself said about opening Constituencies now why he is not standing by his statement. Representative Officer of Election Commission appeared in the court with records .”
Counsel for Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) told to court that Saad Rafique has submitted the application for re-counting to ECP.
Earlier, Babar Awan counsel for Imran Khan couldn’t appear in the court being pre-occupied in supreme court. .
The extension of a day was requested by him to appear in the court.
On which the court adjourned the hearing of case till 11am Saturday (Today).
