Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The PML-N Member Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Doctor Mustafa Bashir has appealed to international community to take notice of Indian state terrorism in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a public gathering in Hattian Bala on Sunday, he said India has miserably failed to suppress the indigenous Kashmir liberation movement.
Member Assembly said Kashmir is longstanding dispute that seeks peaceful settlement through international community’s intervention. He expressed hope that time is not far when people of Kashmir would see the dawn of freedom of their motherland.
He condemned the continued house detention of pro-freedom leadership including Syed Ali Shah Gillani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and others. He said that the arrest spree across the Valley was an eye-opener for the world human rights organizations. Terming the siege and search operation across the held valley as frustration of the authorities, he demanded cessation of human rights violation. He said that such oppression on people with excessive use of force could not force people to give up their struggle based on just rights.
