Multan: Mufti Abdul Qavi and other co-accused could not be indicted in Qandeel Baloch murder case, being the judge on leave.
The nominated arrested accused, Waseem and Haq Nawaz were presented before court while Mufti Qawi also appeared in the court.
However, being the judge on leave, Mufti Qavi and other co-accused could not be indicted and court has adjourned the hearing of the case till 9th April.
It has to be mentioned here that Qandeel Baloch was allegedly killed by her brother in the name of honour in 2016.
Her cousin Haq Nawaz was also nominated in this case. Both accused are now behind the bars.
Former member of Royat- e-Hilal committee Mufti Qavi was also nominated under criminal procedure 109 in Qandeel’s murder case on the petition filed by Azeem, father of Qandeel Baloch for allegedly inciting her brother.
