Rawalpindi:(Parliament Times) The former Deputy Secretary Defence Khawaja Waheed Ahmed the father of Assistant Director Press Information Department Government of Azad Kashmir Khawaja Imran-ul-Haq, Khwaja Nouma-ul-Haq advocate and Khwaja Zeeshan ul Haq has passed away here on Thursday.
Haq breathed his last at a local hospital in Rawalpindi after a protracted illness. The funeral prayers of the deceased was held in Rawalpindi, which was attended by a large number of people including the PID officials, members of legal fraternity and senior journalists hailing from twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad including deputy secretary information Amjad Minhas, Shoukat Malik, Najeeb-ul-Ghafoor, Sarwar Gilgity, former president AKNS Zahid Tabassum, president Kashmir journalist Forum Abid Khurshid, Sajid Chudhary, AKNS Deputy Secretary General and Chief Editor Daily Parliament Times Javed Iqbal and others. The deceased was later laid to eternal rest at his ancestral graveyard amid hundreds of mourners.
Meanwhile, office bearers of the All Kashmir Newspaper Society (AKNS) as well as the chief editor of Daily Parliament Times Mr. Javed Iqbal have expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sad demise of the father of Imran-ul-Haq.
While expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family the Newspapers society offered Fateh for the departed soul, prayed Almighty Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace and grant strength and fortitude to the members of bereaved family.
