KARACHI : (Parliament Times) Â Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said on Wednesday that operation in Karachi would continue until restoration of peace.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the army chief paid a visit to Karachi Corps Headquarters where he was briefed over targeted operation in Karachi.
During his address, the army chief lauded efforts of law enforcement agencers and intelligence agencies in war on terror. He said that security situation in Karachi affects the entire country as it is the economic hub.
General Bajwa vowed that the military would not let productive outcome of the targeted operation get ruined.
The army chief directed all civil and military institutions concerned to take all necessary steps to curb extremism and terror attacks. He further asserted that the army would help every law enforcement agency in need.
Earlier today, General Bajwa visited Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum, laid floral wreath and offered Fateha.
