Bhimber: AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that government will continue its journey to develop liberated area and serving the people without any discrimination or prejudice. He was addressing a reception hosted by Muslim Youth Wing Leader Engineer Rizwan Anwar Choudhry at Dahndar Kot and Bhring in Jamil Kot area of Bhimber district here on Saturday. The Prime Minister said that development process in AJK in line with the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef is continued since PML-N government came into power in the state and people will see a tangible change in their lives soon. Saying that PML-N Parliamentary Party is united, the Prime Minister said that he will continue to take people friendly steps in AJK in disregard of criticism by self centered politicians. He said that members of his cabinet would visit allover Azad Kashmir before budget of 2017 to make the assessment of the critical needs of the people and added that only those projects will be started that are critically needed by the people of Azad Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion Senior Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq said that he is grateful to Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan for undertaking a detailed visit to Bhimber District and getting first hand information about the problems being faced by the people of the district. He expressed his hope that all promises made by Prime Minister during his visit would be implemented in letter and spirit. Minister Information Mushtaq Minhas in his speech said that Raja Farooq Haider Khan took the vision and message of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Shareef in every nook and corner of AJK and won the election in 2016. The Minister said that people of AJK will feel a change in the leadership of Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan soon.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan announced to establish Government College of Technology in Bhimber to impart technical education to youths of the area. He made this announced during his visit to the Bhimber where he was handed over documents of 30 Kanal lands for the Technical College by Managing Director Rose Valley Housing Scheme Khawaja Zaffar Iqbal Butt. Speaking on the occasion Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the MD Rose Valley and appealed to the others philanthropists of the area to cooperate with the government in its efforts to develop the area. The Prime Minister said that government would soon construct technical college on the donated land that will be run by TEVTA Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The educational institution would not only provide educational facilities to the youths of AJK but will also facilitate those from adjoining areas of Pakistan. He said that government will provide 8000 Kanal land for the construction of industrial zone under China Pakistan Economic Corridor in Bhimber.
