Rawalpindi: The senior vice chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Abdul Hameed Butt while paying rich tributes to martyred Hizb commander Sabzar Ahmed Butt and his other associates has said reiterated his party’s resolve that the ongoing freedom struggle against Indian occupation would continue despite all odds.
According to press statement issued here on Monday, Butt said, “Martyrs are our honour, pride and prestige; their sacrifices won’t be allowed to go wasteâ€. Butt also hailed the party chairman Muhmmad Yasin Malik’s peerless contribution towards the ongoing struggle and said that Indian government and its collaborators in held Kashmir were fearful of resistance leadership and that was the reason that they were being frequently detained or put under house detentions.
Butt also condemned in strong terms the use of brute force being used against peaceful protesters by Indian forces. Regarding Indian government’s recent directives of reopening Rubia Sayeed case for a speedy trial Butt said that the Front leadership won’t be deterred by such kind of threatening statements by Indian Interior Minister Rajanath Singh and others.
