Quetta: (Parliament Times) Commandant Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI) Maj. General Ammar Raza (TIM) along with other delegates on Monday visited Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences wherein the QIMS principal Prof. Dr. Arbab Abdul Wadood and faculty members accorded a warm welcome to the visiting delegation.
Welcoming the visiting delegation the QIMS principal said that the college is providing quality education in the province. He said that the college was making every possible effort to increase the quality of education in the province. Brigadier Azad Ali Azad and Colonel Aziz ur Rehman Kakar while briefing the delegates said that due to untiring efforts of Pakistan army Balochistan has been put back on the rack of progress and development saying that there was no fear whatsoever in the province. “Our morale is high and QIMS is one such example where curriculum and extra-curriculum activities are carried on regular basis, which help to boost up physical and mental abilities of the students besides increasing their self-confidence”.
Later on AFPGMI commandant visited the different departments of the faculty and appreciated the latest facilities being provided to the students at the college. He expressed the hope that the QIMS would be instrumental in producing best professional and quality doctors to the province in next few years.
The AFPGMI commandant was accompanied by Brigadier Muhammad Muneer (TIM), commadnat CMH Brigadier Salman Ahmed, Commandant 21 MDC Brigadier Azad Ali Azad, Commandant FC Hospital Col. Ejaz Ahmed and others.
