Islamabad: The Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has sent a three names summary to Prime Minister regarding filling the vacant seat of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) executive director. Sources stated that currently top seats of both the hospitals including PIMS and Polyclinic were vacant as the CADD ministry decided to fill these post as soon as possible and sent a summary to Prime Minister (PM) in this regard.
In polyclinic there was a strong possibility that senior most officer Shahid Hanif to be given the charge of look after the matters of hospital and in PIMS Raja Amjad could be made as executive director on permanent basis.According to sources, in the submitted summary Raja Amjad name was on first top, Dr. Shahid Hanif on 2nd and Dr. Ejaz Qadir on third, however Raja Amjad Poomi due to seniority the strongest candidate for the post.
In both the hospitals, corruption scaling new heights, polyclinic hospital highest seat vacant due to retirement of Dr. Zahid Lark on March 10.CADD has also failed to stop corruption in these hospitals, retiring ED gave the important responsibility of purchase indoor to suspended store keeper, and another suspended Muhammad Azhar given the charge of Surgical Disposal Store.
