Lahore: Sessions Court Lahore (SCL) has released Abid Boxer, former encounter specialist police officer and right hand of former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif while approving the interim bail against the surety bonds of Rs 1 lac till 4th August.
As per media reports, the former police inspector Abid Boxer was presented before the additional district and sessions judge Rehmat Ali on Friday.
Sessions court has approved the bail of Abid Boxer in 10 cases and released him while ordering him to submit the surety bonds of worth Rs 1 lac in cases related to murder and robbery filed against him
It is to be mentioned that Abid Boxer was arrested through Interpol from Dubai.
Abid Boxer said while talking to media outside the court that I have just unveiled few secrets but I will reveal some other secrets soon.

Abid Boxer fled from the country in 2017 and never returned to Pakistan allegedly as his other crimes including the killing of people in extra judicial killings. Punjab Government had fixed the head money of Abid Boxer Rs 3 lac.
Different information regarding Abid Boxer such as he is residing in Kenya, Hong Kong and Dubai came out and many times he came before media.
He claimed many times while blaming police officers and government officials that no police encounter is possible without the approval of administration of the province.
Abid Boxer was brought back to Pakistan after the issuance of his red warrant with the help of Interpol where the hearing of different cases against him is underway and he is bailed out till 4th August.
Abid Boxer is no doubt a former criminal police officer but his return to Pakistan is directly connected to the national politics and it is being said that the confessional statements of Abid Boxer will create troubles/difficulties for Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz
