LAHORE: Joint candidate of PTI-PML(Q) coalition, Usman Ahmad Buzdaar has been elected new Chief Minister of Punjab.
He secured 186 votes while his rival Hamza Shahbaz Sharif of PML-N got 159 votes.
The electoral process was held at Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Sunday, on the basis of Division of House.
Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi chaired the session.
A total of three hundred forty five members took part in today’s electoral process.
After announcing the election result, Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and members of PTI and PML(Q) felicitated the newly elected Chief Minister.
