Chaman: The Bab-e-dosti on Chaman border is decided to be kept closed from 24th July to 26th July due to security concerns besides holding election in peaceful manner.
According to Deputy Commissioner Chaman Tufail Ahmed Baloch security high alert has been issued in view of the threat of terrorism in district Abdullah and Chaman so it has been decided to shut Afghan Border Bab-e-dosti for every type of trade activities and movement on 24th, 25th and 26th July .
Deputy Commissioner has said that aerial firing and display of arms by candidates has been banned under act 144 in district Chaman while it has been directed to hold processions and corner meetings in side four walls rather than in open grounds and markets .
According to Commissioner, services of FC will be hired for the security of the processions and corner meetings of the candidates. Candidates will have to take permission 24 hours before holding processions and corner meetings.
Deputy Commissioner also told that show cause notice has been issued to 4 candidates of Awami National Party (ANP), Mutahida Majlis e Amaal (MMA) Pakhtunkhwa Map (PM) and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) for violating the code of conduct.
