Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought reply from Secretary Law on an application submitted to court for disqualification of President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain here on Tuesday.
IHC Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqqi heard the case, in which Secretary Law, Caretaker Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) were made party.
The counsel of applicant appraised the court that the President of Pakistan should be nonpartisan, while Mamnoon Hussain is a leader of PML (N).
President submitted a wrong affidavit in nomination papers, and he is no more Sadiq and Ameen, and disqualified according to Article 62 and 63 of the constitution.
