Rawalpindi: Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Umer Jahangir has directed to hold 3 or 7 seven days training course of schools teachers across the district.
During this course special attention would be paid on LND (Literacy and Numeracy Drive, he added. He also directed to provide all sort of facilities in 1802 schools across the district. Deputy Commissioner issued these directions in matting that was held at DC office Rawalpindi.
It was worth mentioning here that online real time data about Literacy and Numeracy Drive (LND) system developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with School Education Department for quality teaching and learning in Punjab. Deputy Commissioner Umer Jahangir had recently replaced by Talat Gondal. Umer was previously serving as DC Gujranwala.
