Lahore: (Three) 3-day Drivers Safety Refresher Course has been started at Wapda Town, Lahore. Course has been arranged by Falah e Insaniat Foundation Pakistan (FIF). It has been specially designed for ambulance drivers. Drivers of different districts participated in course.
During course, famous trainers give technical trainings and lectures through multimedia on different topics. On first day, trauma management, patient shifting, road accident management, attitude of drivers and other lectures were delivered by Rescue Instructor FIF Abrar Waheed, Leader FIF Abdullah Shamas, Professor Zafar Iqbal and Head rescue center Zahid Nawaz. Drivers also took practical regarding patient shifting, how to deal during road accident.
Chairman FIF Hafiz Abdul Rauf said that FIF is arranging safety courses to provide essential trainings to drivers. The aim of the course is to make ambulance drivers capable for relief activities during natural disaster and road accidents.
