Kotli: (Parliament Times) A local leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir has alleged police and district administration of helping criminals rather taking actions against them.Talking to party workers here on Tuesday, Mudassar Malik said that ratio of crime particularly drug smuggling and thefts have been increased in recent weeks and police has been failed to bring the culprits to the justice.He said PPP is power and has the capacity to fight against the criminals at its own. He directed the party workers to come out of homes and handle the mafias themselves so as to address the issues of the area. He said, “Police is well aware of our street power and our track record”. On the point raised by his fellow regarding the social issue of love marriage, he said, “Our society is conservative and we must stand by with our traditions whatsoever, parents have the ultimate rights to decide the future life of their children in their better interests”.
Mudassar Malik reiterated his resolve to play his role for the promotion of local and religious values in the society and called upon his party fellows to act according to traditions of the society.
