Islamabad: Former Test Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz has received life threats from two unknown gun totting persons.
According to media reports, Sarfaraz Nawaz filed an application with local magistrate stating that on October 13 two unknown suspects wearing Shalwar Qameez intercepted his vehicle and threatened him at gun point that he should refrain from giving statements and pursuing cases against national players and Pakistan Cricket Board otherwise he along with his family would be killed.
According to him, suspects gave threat that he and his school going children are in their access therefore he should think about his children if not himself.
Former cricketer sought life security from local magistrate Islamabad.
Magistrate ordered I-9 police to register case against unknown suspects after inquiry.
