Islamabad: (PR) Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Chief Basit Zaman Ahmed chaired a monthly review meeting of Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Attock Circles at IESCO Head Office Islamabad. He said that action will be taken against those officers having bad results i.e. high line loses and less recovery. In a meeting field officer briefed IESCO Chief regarding their progress, on account of line losses, recovery from Government and Private Customers, Mobile meter reading accuracy, Pending connections detail, and about electricity theft cases. IESCO Chief appreciated the officer having good result and showed displeasure for those having poor performance. He said that IESCO is leading distribution Company, and to maintain this we have to work hard. IESCO Chief said that IESCO introduced net metering concept in Pakistan. There is a big scope of net metering in IESCO region. Net metering is a game changing project which will help in minimizing shortage of electricity. Customer will produce their own electricity and will sell it to IESCO. He forced all field officer to educate customer about net metering. IESCO Chief instructed store Manager to provide required material i.e. meters, cable and transformer to field so that customer may not suffer. IESCO Chief advised to give maximum relief to valued customer by providing best service.
