Murree: The posts of senior officials including Medical Superintendent, surgeon and cardiologist lie vacant at Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Murree.
According to media reports the Medical Superintendent was transferred, since than no one has been appointed to fill the vacant seat. The Department of Cardiology was established in 1983, after 34 years it couldn’t been made functional yet.
ECG machine had gone dysfunctional; hospital had run out of medicines due to which patients prefer to not visit the hospital. The concerned authorities had done nothing to readdress the grievances of patients. The residents have urged the officials concerned to take necessary steps to resolve the issues faced by the patients.
