Islamabad:(Parliament Times) Headway has been made for converting 32 educational institutions located in Federal Capital into smart school system amid the reports Rs630 million funds have been allocated with regard to this project.
The Federal Ministry for Capital Administration and Development Division has convened an important meeting on 10th July to review the situation. During the meeting matter of setting-up laboratories in FG education institutions will also come under discussion.
The Federal Government decided to install computers in all the FG schools and convert them into Smart School, hence, around Rs630 million funds have been allocated for the purpose. Rs200 million has already been released for the Project, while the remaining amount will be released in different phases. The project will be completed within three years span.
Under the project, the students will be provided with tablets, laptops and computers, while all the system will be completely computerized.
