Electricity crisis in Pakistan is one of the severe challenges the country is facing today. Electricity, Gas, Water and Fuel are essential part of our daily life and non availability of these essential commodities has severely affected the economy and overall living of people throughout the country. Thousands have lost their jobs, Businesses’ our daily life has become miserable. Rural areas are currently facing up to 18 hours of electricity outage a day. The load-shedding situation in the country would further deteriorate if not dealt properly in time. Every other day, KESC cuts down the electric supply without notice. It has become a great hurdle for industries and professional that use electric machinery for their work. Government should try to make alternative way to produce electricity to overcome the problems faced by the people.
