Rawalpindi: The Punjab Government has decided to distribute laptops among the students and special students studying in various Madrassas across the Province including Rawalpindi Division. The Punjab Government has also decided to distribute laptops among the outstandingly brilliant students hailing from Azad Jammu Kashmir and Indian Occupied Kashmir. According to sources, a merit policy has already been worked out according to which laptops will be distributed among the students. Moreover, people who have already been given laptops and foreigners will not be eligible to get laptops under the current scheme.The students who have achieved over 90 percent marks in Board examinations of various Punjab Boards during the last two years will be eligible for getting laptops. The students who have secured over 60 percent numbers in BS, Master and PHD examinations during the last two years will be eligible for getting laptops. 400 talented students will be provided Laptops across the Punjab province, while 2000 students of Madrassas and 5000 students of Private sector will be provided laptops under the current scheme.
