Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The government has appointed Dr Abdul Malik as Member Oil, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Cabinet Division will soon issue notification in this regard. The court has directed the prime minister to appoint one of the members of the panel as member oil. The post of member oil was vacant for years and the prime minister has made the appointment after four years.
According to sources, Dr Abdul Malik is living in Britain for the last 45 years and holds a degree in chemical engineering. He enjoys close ties with sons of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, sources said.
