QUETTA, (Parliament Times) : Bureaucracy becomes a barrier between Balochistan government and media. The Chief Minister of Balochistan could not carry out his orders. The newspaper industry is facing a severe financial crisis due to non-payment of dues by the government of Balochistan. Balochistan Finance Department refuses to release budget despite orders of Balochistan Chief Minister. Due to non-payment of newspapers to the province for 4 months, it is becoming impossible to continue publishing newspapers. After Eid-ul-Fitr, now even on Eid-ul-Adha, newspaper employees are afraid of losing their salaries. Employees and employers are worried. Balochistan Chief Minister demands immediate implementation of his orders for payment of dues. The stubbornness of a bureaucracy officer is creating a gulf between the Balochistan government and the media. If it is not possible to pay the dues before the budget is presented, then the budget session of the Balochistan Assembly can be boycotted. Newspaper organizations started preparations to sit outside the assembly on the budget day of the financial year. If it is not possible to pay the dues before the budget is presented, then every democratic way of protest can be adopted by sitting in front of the assembly.
