RAWALPINDI : Pakistan test captain Babar Azam, along with Australian Captain Pat Cummins posed Wednesday with the glittering trophy named as ‘Benaud-Qadir’ trophy for coming test series between the two teams.
Trophy was revealed at the Rawalpindi cricket stadium and the trophy is named after Pakistan and Australia’s cricketing legends Abdul Qadir and Richie Benaud.
The trophy, as per the media reports, is being presented mutually by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Australian Cricket Board (ACB).
It was revealed that winning teams of bilateral series between these two nations will also be awarded with the same trophy.
The much-anticipated test series will begin tomorrow (Friday), with first of the three match series getting underway at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
