Attock ,(Parliament Times): A meeting was held in DC Office Attock to review various issues of Attock district. The meeting was chaired by Member National Assembly Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq. Members of Provincial Assembly Malik Jamshed Altaf, Syed Khawar Fever, Deputy Commissioner Attock Ali Annan Qamar, DPO Attock Syed Khalid Hamdani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Zaigham Nawaz Chaudhry, CEO Education Dr. Javed Iqbal Awan and other officers attended the event. A briefing was given on the development schemes. In these schemes, health, education, road maintenance and other
projects were reviewed. Addressing on the occasion, Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq said that all the development works were of high quality. He said that merit should be taken care of while recruiting in various government departments and no compromise should be made on transparency. He appealed to the elected political representatives to review the ongoing development schemes in their areas on a daily basis and report them in a timely manner. Let the people of the district benefit from these development schemes. In the meeting, DPO Attock Syed Khalid Hamdani briefed the participants about law and order situation in the district. Giving a briefing, he said that overall law and order situation in Attock is better. An operation is underway to suppress criminal elements. Along with this, public issues related to the police department are being resolved through a public contact campaign.
